Bessie was born in Temple, TX on February 2, 1929 to Raymond and Gladys Garner. She graduated from Temple High School. Married Thomas Glen Land and was a devoted wife and mother of three children; Nancy, David, and Bruce. Survived by son Bruce and wife Hazel, granddaughter Melanie and husband Danny, three great-grandchildren Austin, Hailey and Brayden, many other loving relatives and friends. She was involved with the West Highland White Terrier Club in Dallas and a Breeder of puppies for many years. Visitation will be 1-2 PM, Friday, April 22, 2011 at the funeral home. Services to follow at 2 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home. Interment will be at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
