Lessie Fay Cupp, 81, of Tulsa passed from this life Saturday, December 25, 2010 in Tulsa. She was born August 22, 1929 in Wetumka the daughter of Robert Newton and Oner Leona ( Tripp) Lambert. Lessie was a homemaker and loved to fish. On June 3, 1944 she married Robert E. Lee Cupp and together they raised two daughters, Lessie and Dolly. Robert preceded her in death on September 10, 1997 after 53 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Lula Dinwiddie, Hester Lambert and Betty Godwin and brothers, Rex, Orval, Clen and Jack Lambert. Her survivors include her daughters, Lessie Hill and husband, Gene of Tulsa and Dolly Million of Tulsa; brother, Bobby Lambert and wife Earlene of Mannford; grandchildren, Kelly Combs and husband Chris of Broken Arrow, John Million, Stacy Dugan and husband Garry of Cleveland, Melissa Brown and husband Zach of Cleveland, Trey Hill of Sand Springs and Ashley Hill of Tulsa; and twelve great grandchildren. A funeral service is scheduled for 10am Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the Heath-Griffith Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Bill Parker will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Eufaula under the direction of Heath-Griffith Funeral Home.
