Graveside service: 2 p.m. Friday in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.

Florence was born to Jesse and Cora Crow in Tanglewood on Sept. 17, 1915. In her early years, Florence and her sister, Irene, moved with their father to Rotan. Later, she moved to her mother's home in Fort Worth to attend high school at Diamond Hill. After school she returned to Rotan, where she met and married Jesse Lloyd Lambert in 1934. In October 1941, the family moved to San Diego, Calif., where Lloyd was employed with Consolidated Aircraft Co. When World War II started, the family moved back to Texas and Lloyd went to work at the new bomber plant west of Fort Worth. Most of this time they lived in Liberator Village, a government housing area for bomber plant workers. Meanwhile, Florence was a homemaker and mother to their three children until 1951, when she began working in the dry cleaning business; she was employed over 40 years at TCU Cleaners. In the mid-1950s, the family moved to the north side of Fort Worth. After the passing of her husband in 1970, Florence and her family made their home in the Riverside area.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Jesse Lloyd Lambert; her parents; sisters, Irene Watson, Don Leta Teel, Telula Lightfoot and Lois Teague; and brothers, David Alvin Crow and Bobby Jolly.
Survivors: Son, Maurice Grant Lambert and wife, Janice; daughters, Jerry Ann Sanderlin and Kay Irene Wallace and husband, John; grandchildren, Tammy Wright and husband, Paul, Tuesday Ingram, John Wallace and Keith Wallace; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Calvin Crow and wife, Glenna, of Rotan, Kenneth Crow and wife, Willie, of Snyder, Billy Crow and wife, Sue, of Odessa and Jesse Crow of Amarillo; sister-in-law, Margie Crow of Fort Worth; and many nieces and nephews.
