Mrs. Elizabeth Lamar, 84, pioneer Graham resident, passed away peacefully as she slept.
Mrs. Lamar had lived in Graham more than 50 years moving here in 1882 with her husband and family from Montague County, Texas.
Survived by five daughters - Mrs. Louise Lewis, Mrs. Blanche Hutchins, Mrs. Hannah Girand, Mrs. Bess Roach, Mrs. Mary Vorena Jeffries; two sons - Tom Smith Lamar and Dude Lamar.
