THE DEATH OF FINCHER D. LAKE
Friday afternoon at 1 o’clock occurred the death of Fincher D. Lake, at his residence one mile south of Stockwell, after an illness of only ten days with lung fever. The deceased was an honored and upright citizen and his death is deplored by all. He was about 55 years old and has lived in this county nearly all his life. A wife and four children, two sons and two daughters, survive to morn the loss of a devoted husband and father. In politics he was an active republican. The funeral was held Sunday morning at 10 o’clock from Salem church. Interment at Salem cemetery.
