MRS JOSEPH E DESROSIERS
CHICOPEE – Mrs Marie (Lagasse) Desrosiers, 83, of 44 Northwood St., widow of Joseph E Desrosiers died Monday at a Holyoke nursing home. Born n St. Pascal, Que., Can., July 23, 1884, the daughter of the late Jean B. and Hortense (Potvin) Lagasse, she was a resident of Chicopee for the past 65 years. She leaves 6 sons, Aurele of Framingham, Henry and Albert both of Chicopee, Leo and Arthur, both of Indian Orchard, and Louis of West Springfield; five daughters, Mrs Rodolphe Morin, Mrs Conrad Ritchott, Mrs Joseph Bernard, and Mrs Aldore Minnie, all of Chicopee, and Mrs Charles Page, of Leicester; a brother, John B Lagasse of Chicopee; 5 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Two of her sons are at governement service, Albert, a Chicopee fire fighter, and Louis, a West Springfield detective. The funeral will be held at the Grise funeral home at a time to be announced. Calling hours are 7 to 9 and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.

CHICOPEE – The funeral of Mrs Marie (Lagasse) Desrosiers of 44 Northwood St., will be held at the Grise funeral home Thursday morning at 8 with a requiem high Mass at 9 at the Assumption church. The Rev. Ronald Desrosiers, a grandson of the deceased will be celebrant. Burial will be in the Calvary cemetery. Calling hours are 7 to 9 and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The deceased leaves 5 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren.
