Mrs. Aldea Baltazor Dies
Mrs. Aldea Baltazor, lifetime resident of Cloud County died Saturday afternoon, at St. Joseph's hospital following a long illness. She was 83 years old. Mrs. Baltazor was born Nov. 15, 1883, at St. Joseph, Kansas, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nicolas Lagesse. Her marriage to Theodore Baltazor took place Oct. 17, 1899 at Clyde. The couple moved from Clyde to Aurora in 1919 and came to Concordia in 1937 to make their home.
She was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1956 and also a daughter, Mrs. Ralph Simoneau.
Survivors are: two sons and one daughter: Oliver Baltazor, Lucille, Mrs. Joseph Leduc, of Concordia; and Gabriel, of Salina; 15 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and burial took place in the Catholic Cemetery at Clyde.
