MILLINOCKET, June 26 -- Mrs. Agnes Legassey Boutaugh, 78, died at the home of her son, William, 104 East avenue, Friday morning after a long illness.
She was born in St. Agathe May 3, 1885 (sic), daughter of Joseph and Victoria (Derosier) Legassey. She came to Millinocket in 1900 and married the late Benjamin Boutaugh.
She is survived by three sons, Fred, William and John, all of Millinocket; a daughter, Mrs. William Wall of Carmel; two sisters, Mrs. Edmund Boynton, Millinocket, and Mrs. Joseph McDonald of Skowhegan; three brothers, John, Millinocket, Lewis of St. Agathe, and Fred of Hartford, Conn.; 23 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The body is at the Kelleher funeral home and will be transferred to the son's residence, Saturday. A High Mass of Requiem will be celebrated at St. Martin of Tours Catholic church Monday at 9:30 o'clock. Burial will be in the family lot, Millinocket cemetery.
