Benjamin V. Labrador, 81, of Colorado Springs, passed away on August 21, 2010. Ben was born on April 3, 1929 in the Philippines to the late Gerardo and Eugenia (Vindua) Labrador. Ben married Loreto Lardin on September 15, 1956 in Philippines and together had seven children. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and hiking.
Ben is survived by his beloved wife, Loreto; sons, Nathaniel (Gloria) Labrador, August (Jocelyn) Labrador, and Paul (Eliza) Labrador; daughters, Julita (Noel) Laborce, Lourdes Lindsay, Isabelita (Cipriano) Ilas, and Angelica (Ronnie) Alarcon; brother, Manuel Labrador; sisters, Libertad Elisan, Leticia Labrador and Zoraida Aragon. Ben is also survived by eighteen grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Funeral and Cremation Care of Colorado, 930 S. Hancock, Colorado Springs, CO 80903 and from 5:00-8:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00, Friday, August 27, 2010 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 6455 Brook Park Rd, Colorado Springs, CO. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 28, 2010 at St. Patrick's. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
