Thelma L. Donahue, 84, formerly of Franklin Street, a resident of the United Helpers Nursing Home, died Saturday evening in A. Barton Hepburn Hospital.
A prayer service will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the McLellan Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Cathedral with the Rev. Robert H. Aucoin, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
She is survived by a son, a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth White, Flackville; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A sister, Harriet Kinzel, died before her, and a brother, Willard, died in infancy.
Born in Ogdensburg June 11, 1906, daughter of James and Nina Mulligan Larock, she graduated from St. Mary's Academy and married Charles F. Donahue Aug. 6, 1924, in St. Mary's Cathedral with Monsignor John L. Plunkett officiating. Mr. Donahue died Nov. 1, 1962.
Mrs. Donahue was retired from the Social Security Administration office in Ogdensburg.
She was a member of the Association of Retired Federal Employees Union, the American Legion Auxiliary, and a communicant of St. Mary's Cathedral.
