Prayer service will be held at her home followed by services here at the funeral home of B. A. Sanborn. Burial will be made at McConnellsville.
She was born at Oxford, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Christie MacDonald. At Utica, on Dec. 18, 1900, she was married to Samuel P. Lacell, and lived for 11 years in Utica, moving to Rome and then to Camden, where she and her husband lived for several years. She was a member at one time of the Camden Presbyterian Church, later affiliating with a Utica Presbyterian Church.
Surviving besides her husband, are four brothers, Charles MacDonald of California, and John, Ernest, and James MacDonald, of Canada, two sisters, Mrs. Leon McCoy and Mrs. Mary McClintock, both of Canada. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. Utica Daily Press, November 8, 1937
