Mrs. William Luedtke, 85, of 108 Washington St., Manitowoc, died Sunday night at
Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the First German
Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. L. H. Koeninger will officiate
and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born Emily Schley Oct. 1, 1869, in Cooperstown and 69 years ago was
married to William Luedtke. They located on a farm in Cooperstown. Her husband
died in 1921. She later came to Manitowoc to reside with a son, William.
Surviving are two sons, Arthur and William of Manitowoc; brother, Otto of
Maribel; three sisters, Rose of Maribel, Mrs. Emma Schlegemilch of Green Bay and
Mrs. Alfred Grunklee of Dodge Center, Minn.; five grandchildren and five great
grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after
Tuesday noon. The casket will be moved to the church at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
