Henry J. "Hank" Kustra, 84, of McKeesport, died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2009, at UPMC Presbyterian hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born Oct. 30, 1924, in McKeesport, a son of the late Paul and Anna Fornal Kustra. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude M.Bytheway Kustra; son, Thomas H. Kustra; and sisters, Bertha Dillinger, Esther Kustra and Nell Kustra. Hank served with the 489th Anti-Aircraft Unit, 4th Division during World War II Battle of the Bulge. A retired machinist for US Steel National Works, he was a member of St.Mary Czestochowa Parish in McKeesport, member and past president of the McKeesport PNA Lodge 352, the White Oak American Legion Post 701, the East McKeesport VFW 8430, the Versailles Croatian Club 146 and the Amvets.
