Mrs. Mary Kubik
Mrs. Mary (Carpenter) Kubik, 81, one of the oldest Bohemian residents of West Springfield, died early yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Anna Chandler of 54 Hill Street. Born in Bohemia in 1860, she had long been a resident of West Springfield. She was a member of Immaculate Conception church. Besides Mrs. Chandler she leaves two other daughters, Mrs. Josephine Brown of West Springfield and Mrs. Rose Goff of Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The funeral will be held at the Curran-Jones parlors West Springfield, Thursday morning at 8:15am followed by requiem high mass at Immaculate Conception church at 9. Burial will be in St Michael's Cemetery.
