Word was received here on Sunday of the sudden death of Mr. Carl Krog of Niagara, N. Dak. His three brothers, Hans, Johan P. and Jorgen left for Niagara on Monday morning to be with Erick, who was in partnership with Carl. Services will be held this afternoon, Thursday, from the Johan P. Krog home at 1:30 o'clock and from Diamond Lake Lutheran Church at two. Full particulars and an obituary will appear in next week's issue of The News.

Last Rites Held For Carl Krog
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon for Carl Krog, who passed away suddenly at his home in Larimore, N. D. on Sunday, Jan. 5th. With Rev. Eilert C. Nielsen officiating, the last rites were conducted from the home of his brother Johan P. Krog, and the Diamond Lake Lutheran Church. Memorial services were conducted by the Rev. Falk at Larimore, on January 7th. Interment was made in the Diamond Lake Cemetery.

Carl Krog, son of Jens C. H. Krog and his wife, Thora E. Lund, was born July 31, 1894 in Diamond Lake township. He was baptized in the Danish Lutheran church and confirmed in the Danebod Lutheran church, Tyler.

Mr. Krog lived with his parents until called into service in World War I, serving until June 1919. He then moved to Larimore, N. D. the following fall where he and his brother, Erick, engaged in farming. He continued in that endeavor up to the time of his passing, January 5, at which time he had attained the age of 52 years, 5 months and five days.

Surviving are six brothers and two sisters; Johan, Hans and Jorgen Krog, Lake Benton; Mrs. Marie Bisballe, Mrs. Dagmar Marek, Walter and Chris of Royal Oak, Mich., and Erik, who resided with him at Larimore. Preceding him in death were his parents, and one brother Holger, who died in infancy.

Pallbearers at the last rites were Niels Nielsen, Chris Meyer, Medar Christensen, Johannes Andersen, Andrew N. Dahl and Carl Carlsen, all veterans of World War I.
