Rites Held for Mrs. Erik Krog

Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 23rd, for Mrs. Erick Krog, 77, who passed away last Wednesday at the Hendricks hospital Services were conducted at 1:30 at the home and 2:00 o'clock at Diamond Lake church, the pastor, Rev. Walter Brown of Ruthton officiating.

Pallbearers were Alvin and Harold Simonsen, Johan P. and Hans Krog, Roy Nelson and Dick Werkman, Interment was in Diamond Lake Cemetery

Camilla Caspersen Krog was born Oct 26, 1874 in Humle Byg Sogn Langeland, Denmark, and passed away June 20, 1951 at the age of 77 years at Hendricks hospital.

She was the daughter of Peter and Mette Caspersen, and came to America with her parents in 1883 to Wilno. Later the family moved to Diamond Lake.

She was baptized in Denmark, confirmed in the Icelandic Lutheran Church near Wilno, and later became a member of the Diamond Lake Lutheran Church.

She was united in marriage on Oct. 29, 1902 to Erick Krog. They lived on a farm in Drammen township for forty-four years, then moved to town where she has since resided

To this uniion three sons were born: Peter of Bagley; Rasmus who died in infancy, and Herbert of Lake Benton.

Those who survive are her husband, two sons, Peter of Bagley and Herbert of Lake Benton; one sister, Mrs. Emma Lund of Lake Geneva, Wis., also several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Krog was a great lover of flowers which gave her much comfort and pleasure during her many years of failing health.

Relatives from away attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. John Lund of Lake Geneva, Wis., Mrs. Peter Krog of Okabena, Mr. and Mrs Darwin Van Stelten, Slayton, Mrs. Bob Larson, Garvin, Mr. and Mrs John Isfeld, Taunton, Mrs. G.C. Nielsen, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Nelson of Ivanhoe, Mrs. Justin Oien of Brookings S.D., Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lokken, Mr. and Mrs. Ingvald Lokken, Mr. and Mrs. Kenton Weeks, Mr. Henry Rogness, Mrs. Tobias Sand, all of Hendricks, Mrs. Guy Lund of Pipestone, Mrs. Robert Jensen and Elmer, Tyler, Mr. and Mrs Peter M.
