ERICK KROG

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. at Diamond Lake Lutheran Church, Lake Benton, Thursday, July 3rd, 1969 for Erick Krog who passed away Monday, June 30th, at Northwood Deaconess Hospital, Northwood, N.D.

Pastor Arley Fadness officiated at the service. Pallbearers were Norman, Arnold, Howard, Glenn, Harold Krog, and Clayton Zimmer. Interment was in Diamond Lake Cemetery, Lake Benton, Minn.

Erick Krog, son of Mr. and Mrs Jens Krog, was born in Diamond Lake Twp. August 9th, 1896. He served in WWI and worked at carpentering at Lake Benton and Royal Oak, Mich. He farmed at Niagara, N.D. He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church, Niagara N.D. and of the Legion Post #2058, Grand Forks, N.D.

He had attained the age of 72 years, 11 months.

He leaves to mourn his passing, four brothers: Johan, Hans, and Jorgen, all of Lake Benton, and Walter Krog of Royal Oak Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Bisballe, (Marie) of Royal Oak, Mich., and Mrs. Chris Marck (Dagmar) of New Port Richey, Fla. He was preceded in death by brothers Chris of Royal Oak, Mich., and Carl of Niagra N.D.

Friends attending from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Asleson and family, and Mr. and Mrs Richard Georgeson of Niagara N.D.
