Ella Angela Moren longtime resident of Gilbert, MN passed away peacefully on April 27th at 5 AM at the age of 102, at Maplewood Care Center, Maplewood, MN.
Ella was born to Alojzij and Franciska (Yaklic) Kosir on March 11, 1912 in Dolnje Podpoljane (currently Slovenia, formerly Yugoslavia). Ella immigrated to the United States in 1938, and resided in Gilbert, MN. She married Frank Moren in 1939. They had one son, Thomas.
Ella was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother.
She is survived by her son Thomas (Becky) Moren; six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren; four brothers, Ludvik, John, Peter, Frank and one sister Maria; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank, twin brother Joseph, brother Stanley, brother Louis, brother Vinko, and grandson Dan.
Interment will be in the Gilbert Cemetery.
