FROSTBURG - Mrs. Clara May Bittner, 76, wife of Edward Bittner, 51 Mill Street, died Friday in Miners Hospital after an illness of ten days. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Nevin Bittner, Frostburg, and two daughters, Mrs. William Livengood and Mrs. Howard Holtzman, both of Frostburg. She was a member of Salem Evangelical and Reformed Church and the Women's Guild of Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church. The body will be at the Hafer Funeral Home where services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. with Rev. George Wehler officiating and assisted by Rev. Paul V. Taylor. Interment will be in the Frostburg Memorial Park. The family has requested that flowers be omitted. Cumberland Sunday Times, July 21, 1957
