Betty H. Kohlmeyer 92, passed away on April 3, 2007 in Indianapolis, where she had lived since her birth on January 5, 1915. On August 24, 1932 she married Fred W. Kohlmeyer after graduation from Tudor Hall School for Girls. They celebrated 66 years of marriage before his death in 1999. Together they owned and operated Graham Furniture Co., later to become Graham's of Glendale, for many years. They also enjoyed collecting and restoring classic cars, and were active in many organizations connected with their hobby, among them the Classic Car Club of America, Indiana Region CCCA, Old Car Social Club, Hoosier Chapter MCS, Lincoln Continental Owners Club, Indiana Chapter LCOC, Marmon Owners Club, and the Eagle Chapter MVCCA. She was a lifelong member of the Meridian Street United Methodist Church, and the Society of Indiana Pioneers, the DAR, and the Stansfield Circle. Preceding her in death, in addition to her husband, were her parents, John and Dena Harlong. She is survived and will be missed by her daughter, Ann Lunsford; son-in-law, Tom Lunsford; two grandsons, Jim Hogshire (Heidi) of Seattle, WA and David Hogshire (Jackie) of Plymouth, MN; and two great-granddaughters, Connie and Elizabeth Hogshire, also of Plymouth, MN.
