Maryann was last employed as a registered nurse by Lafayette College where she worked in the Bailey Health Center. Previously she worked for Easton Hospital for 25 years as a maternity ward nurse. She graduated from Easton High School Class of 1954 and Easton Hospital School of Nursing Class of 1957. Maryann enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling and crocheting. She was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church where she served as president of the altar guild, assistant treasurer, lay Eucharistic minister and visitor. Maryann was also a member of Easton Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Joseph, Jr., are two daughters, Susan E. Satre and her husband Paul, of Emmaus and Judith A. Macht and her husband Robert, of Limerick; a sister, Janet DeBellis and her husband Deacon Charles, of Palmer Township; a brother, Kenneth Kohler; two grandchildren, Brandon and Lexi Macht; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Michelle.
A memorial service will be held at 3pm Sunday in Trinity Episcopal Church, 234 Spring Garden Street, Easton. Call Sunday 2-3pm in the church. Burial will be in the church Garden of Remembrance.
