Texa was married to John T. Barker - he was born about 1883 in Georgia. Their children were Lucille Barker/Alexander, born about 1903, Elizabeth Barker, born about 1909, april M. Barker, born about 1911, & John T. Barker, born about 1912 - all in Georgia.
Lucille Barker was married to Ellis Alexander. I had just added a child, aged 4 years, Jack Alexander, who lived at the same address as Texa. This was her grandson who died of diphtheria. Lucille was his mother.
Her marker reads - Here lies our mother, when she lived she gave her best and now our little Mother has gone to rest.

i Judy Brantley! My name is William Alexander and I am the nephew of Jack Cecil Alexander through
My father William E. Alexander (1929-1998) he was Jack's younger brother….. I was wondering how you came to be in possession of this document!?
I have been searching for this for several years and finally found it posted on Find a Grave… How fortunate! I hope you won't mind if I snag it for my files!
One item I found wrong was the spelling of my great grandmother Texa 's name… you have it as Noles…..and I have documents that spell it as Knowles…
On another note please be informed that Jack and his grandmother no longer are buried at the Hollywood Cemetery…. In 1976 my grandmother Lucile Barker Alexander
And her sister Betty Barker McDonald moved them to Paces Ferry Methodist Church Cemetery because of the vandalism that was rife at the time.
They are buried next to Betty and her husband Paul McDonald and Lucile.
Thank you for posting the information you have it has been a great help!
