Pearl Naomi Belding passed away in a local convalescent hospital on Wednesday evening, February 1, 1984 following a lengthy illness. A native of Cuba, Kansas, she was reared in Osage County, Okla. and graduated from high school in Fairfax, and later attended Texas A&M. She operated a boarding house during the oil boom years, and in 1922 was married to Walton M. Belding. They moved to Nursery, Texas in 1925. Mr. Belding died in 1951 and she moved to Lodi in 1959. Survived by her dear friend and companion, F.A. Burgstahler of Lodi. Mother of Michael M. Belding Sr. of Lodi and Patrick C. Belding of Galt. Sister of Carl and Marvin Ward of Texas, Juanita Everly of Lodi and Erma Prothro of Missouri. Grandmother of 6.
