Ruth (Knight) Beliveau Arnold, 76, formerly of 262 Main St. and a retired registered nurse, died yesterday in a Lowell nursing home.
She was on the staff of the Holyoke Soldiers' Home and other area nursing homes before her retirement in 1965.
Born in Easthampton, she attended local schools and graduated in 1938 from Easthampton High School. She was a graduate of the former Cooley Dickinson Hospital School of Nursing in Northampton.
She later lived in Lawrence for eight years.
She leaves two sons; a brother, Kenneth Knight of Martinsville, Va., and several grandchildren.
The funeral will be tomorrow afternoon at Mitchell Funeral Home with burial in Center Cemetery, Westhampton. Published in the Springfield Republican
