Arthur H. Knight Sr.
KNIGHT, ARTHUR H., SR., 82, formerly of Seven Mile Rd., passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Kent Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of late Henriette 'Harriet' J. Olivier) Knight. Born in Scituate, he was a son of the late Nehiemah and Irene
(Studley ) Knight. He had been a resident of Hope since 1964. Arthur was a machinist at Brown & Sharp in Providence and North Kingstown for over 30 years before retiring in 1983. He was a Navy veteran of WWII.
He leaves two daughters; Marianne J. Costa of West Warwick and Susan J. Shaw of Coventry, a brother; Harold Knight of Cranston, a sister; Betty Ferrante of Johnston, 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Arthur H. Knight Jr., and brother of the late Henry Knight, Beverly Sabetta and Irene Vanner. His funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00am in the Robert A. Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., Coventry. Burial with Military honors will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visiting hours Friday 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hope Alzheimer Center, 25 Brayton Ave., Cranston RI 02920 will be appreciated.
