MOUNT WOLF
Margaret E. (Knaub) Ahrens, 93, died Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, Md. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Ahrens, Sr., who died February 7, 2001.
Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 16, 2005, at The Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 87 S. Main St., Mt. Wolf, Pa. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery. Officiating at the service will be her pastor the Reverend Wayne F. Heberlig from Otterbein U. M Church in Mt. Wolf.
Mrs. Ahrens was born November 10, 1911 in York County. She was the daughter of the late John and Lillie (Gross) Knaub.
She was employed by ShinyBrite Corp in Emigsville and was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Mt. Wolf.
Mrs. Ahrens is survived by two sons, Robert L. Ahrens, Jr. of York and Michael C. Ahrens of Manchester; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren ; and a sister, Jessie Smith of York. Mrs. Ahrens was preceded in death by a son Charles Ahrens.
