The deceased was a native of Germany, having been born in West Phalia on April 3, 1836. She had been in ill health but a few days, death being due to the infirmities incident to her advanced age.

In 1856 they purchased a farm near Mayville, where they lived until about nine years ago, at which time they came to Beaver Dam to spend their declining years in retirement among their children. Mr. Fuesing passed away here about five years ago, and three children preceded the parents in death.
The surviving children are Mrs. Gertrude Schellpfeffer of this city, Mrs. Bernard Neihoff of the town of Beaver Dam, Henry and Bernard Neihoff [sic] of this city. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Wm. Deinburg of Menominee Falls, Wis.
Funeral services were held at St. Peter's church at nine o'clock Tuesday morning with interment in St. Peter's cemetery. The services were in charge of Rev. Fr. George J. Muenzer.
