Mrs. Fannie Burgess, 55
Dies At Home In Ramseur
Ramseur, Aug. 28 - Mrs. Fannie Burgess, 55, wife of E. A. Burgess, died this morning at her home here after an illness of several months. She had been in failing health for some time. Surviving in addition to her husband are four sons, D. M., L. M., W. E., and Glen Burgess, of Ramseur; two daughters, Miss Lucy Burgess and Mrs. Sue Grimes, also of Ramseur; three brothers, G. P. Kivett, Liberty, Calvine Kivett, Greensboro, and John Kivett, High Point; and one sister, Mrs. E. L. Wright, who lives in Colorado, Mrs. Burgess was a member of Ramseur Christian church. Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Parks Crossroads Christian church by her former pastor, Rev. T. E. White, of Elon College. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
