Rickie Lee Kistler Carpenter, 65, of Mooresville, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016. She was born Nov. 18, 1950, in Iredell County, to the late Coye and Mary Lois Adams Kistler.
Rickie was a lifelong resident of Mooresville and worked at Burlington Industries and Pines at Davidson.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Ernest, Toby, Tommy and Eddie Kistler.
She is survived by her husband James "Jim" Carpenter; children Tammy Towe and husband, Johnny; Crystal Jackson and husband, Bruce; Christina Leonard and fiancé‚ Zachary Friss; Chad Kistler and wife, Tracey; sister Vickie Montgomery and husband, Randy; grandchildren Andy, Blake, Bailey, Coleson and Bailey Anne; great grandchildren Ashtyn, Logan and Xander; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 14, at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Miles officiating. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens, Statesville.
