Fred W. Kiser Rites Today
Funeral services for Fred W Kiser, 51, will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Buchanan Chapel with the Rev: Norman H Ford, pastor of Southside Baptist Church, officiating.
Interment will be in the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the Buchanan Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be 0. M. Hodgens, Ted Candler, Tom Summers, Lloyd Snider, Earl Fosdyke, and Bud Leake. Honorary bearers will be the members of the Local Painters Union No. 1895.
Mr. Kiser, who died Sunday evening following an apparent heart attack, was born Nov. 15, 1916, in Green Forrest, Ark. He moved to Oklahoma with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Phil Kiser, now deceased at the age of four and was raised in and around this area, where he received his education. He had worked as a painter for the past 10 years and was previously employed with the K.O. & G. Railroad and the Okmulgee Northern Railroad. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church and Painters Local Union.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Kiser of the home, 600 East 12th, three daughters, Mrs. Ronald L. Stanley, Tulsa, Mrs. Dan T. Sullivan, Pueblo, Colo., and Mrs. Fred Holder, Napa, Calif. This mother -in -law, Mrs. Coree Powell of the home, a brother, Gene Kiser, Okmulgee, a sister, Mrs. Jack Creekmore, Marlton, N.J. and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death of a son, Ricky.
