Jeanette Kirtley Brooks died August 22, 2011. She was born January 27, 1920 in Angelina Co. Texas. However, she calls Houston her home since 1934. In the past was a member of the Annunciation Church and now a member of DAR, UDC and a charter member of Clayton Library Friends. She is survived by her sons, Frank, Luke, and Jan Ligotino, grandchildren, Lori Ligotino Hanson, Michael and Jason Ligotino, six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, August 26, 2011 at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
