Mrs. Catherine Kirk formerly from Clinton passed away on Sunday at a Chicago Hospital after a prolonged illness.
Catherine was born on February 8, 1885 in Champaign, Illinois and was the daughter of the late William and Louisa Fleming Dempsey.
Catherine is survived by her husband, W. E. Kirk; one son, Marshall Kirk both from Chicago; two daughters, Mrs. Catherine Lauterback, Mrs. Loretta Strain both from Chicago; one brother, William Dempsey from Chicago, two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Staley from Chicago, Mrs. Mary Catherine Large from Racine, Wisconsin and three grandchildren. Catherine was preceded in death by one sister, Mrs. Louisa Boissoneau who died in 1935.
Services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 A.M, St. John's Catholic Church with Rev. T.P. Kelly officiating followed by internment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
