Death of Mn. Peter Cordial.
FROSTBURG, Md., June 15 [Special] —
Mrs. Catherine Cordial, wife of Peter Cordial, died at Eckhart Mines this morning at 1 o'clock. While Mrs. Cordial had not been well for a week or so, her death was a surprise to her family and friends, as she was not considered dangerously ill. The deceased was well known in this community and highly esteemed by all who knew her. She was a sister to Mr. John Kirby, of Vale Summit, and an aunt to Mr. Wm. Fitzgerald, well known in Cumberland. The funeral will take place Monday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Michael's church, Frostburg.

Mrs. Catherine Cordial, wife of Mr. Peter Cordial, whose death at Eckhart Mines, on last Saturday morning, has been in this paper, was buried yesterday at Frostburg, with high mass, from St. Michaels church, and the interment was in the cemetery connected with the church. The deceased was sister to Mr. Wm. Kirby, of this city, who with his wife attended the funeral yesterday. She was a sister to Mr. John Kirby, of Vale Summit, also. A daughter-in-law of the deceased died about a month ago, and as Mrs. Cordial was very attentive to her, it is thought her own death was brought about by over exertion. A son and daughter of the deceased are lying very low at her late residence at this writing.
