Mrs. Lena King, 65, 801 S. died at 2:15 p. m. Wednesday at home, after an illness of six months. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
She was born May 15, 1893, in Creal Springs, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George V. Clayton.
She leaves husband John; sons Robert Glenn of Carlsbad, N. M.; John, Jr., of West Frankfort; daughter Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Underwood of Girard; brothers Robert V. Ciayton, St. Petersbur Fla.; Edgar L. Clayton, Carbondale; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Stone Funeral Home in West Frankfort, with the Rev Paul Dixon and the Rev. Cecil Walker officiating.
