Mr. King died at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Riverside Medical Center following a long illness.
He was born April 24, 1910, in Alexandria, Indiana, to Mr. and Mrs. Clarence King. He was a retired employee of the KAL Leasing Company.
Mr. King was a member of the Kankakee Masonic Lodge AF&AM.
Survivors include his wife, the former Ruth Rossman to whom he was married September 9, 1934, in Sugar Grove; two daughters, Pat Coutlee of Kankakee, Illinois, and Susan Raymond of Saint George, Illinois; and five grandchildren.
There will be no visitation.
Burial will be in the Frankton, Indiana, K of P IOOF Cemetery.
A memorial in Mr. King's name has been established for the Kankakee Lions Club.
Arrangements were completed by the Schreffler & Sexton Funeral Home, Kankakee Chapel.
