Jewel Marie (Kimbro) Hart
August 1, 1922 - April 28, 2015

Jewel (Judy) Hart, surrounded by her family, went to be with her Lord on 04/28/2015 at the age of 92 years. Jewel was born at home in Dickson County, Tennessee to Dorsey and Ella Mae (Lofton) Kimbro on August 1, 1922. She lived her childhood in Dickson, Tennessee.

During her incredible and rewarding life, she had wonderful experiences through work and her many charitable activities. However, her love and dedication to her family was unsurpassed.

Her commitment, dedication and involvement within her church (United Methodist) was always very special to her. Serving as president of the United Methodist Women for many years is just one example of her commitment to her church and its mission. During World War II, she joined the Army Civil Service Corp and built airplanes in Mobile, AL for the Army Air Force.

After the war, Jewel moved to Cleveland, OH where she met and married her husband Robert A. Hart on November 1, 1946. Their mutual love for travel carried them throughout 49 of the 50 United States. In addition to their many driving excursions throughout the country, they traveled around the world visiting over 7 countries, Guam and the Hawaiian Islands.

Jewel was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother to all of her family. She always put everyone else first throughout her life. She also consistently displayed her love for the Lord Jesus Christ. Her love and kindness will be forever remembered!

Jewel is survived by her husband of 68 1/2 years, Robert A. Hart, her son, James Paul Hart (Vicki) of Ohio and her daughter Pamela Yvonne Snider (Steve) of Arkansas; five grandchildren, Michael Hart (Megan), Rebecca Hart Cash (Matthew), Blake Snider, Lisa Snider and Matthew Snider. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Lottie Fussell and her two brothers, Dorsey Kimbro Jr. and Harvel Kimbro plus her grandson, Burke Alan Henderson.
