Mary G. Kile, 103, of Rogue River, died Wednesday, April 5, 2006 in Grants Pass. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 13th at 11:00 a.m. at the Hillcrest Memorial Chapel with Minister Jack Zieser officiating.

Mary was born December 29, 1902 in Whiting, Iowa to George and Mary Mercer. On May 25, 1921 she married Lee John Kile. She moved to the Rogue Valley from Wisconsin in 1937.

From 1946-1950 she owned a restaurant in Rogue River called Mary's Lunch. Her hobbies were reading, cooking, and gardening, she loved her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Raymond; one sister; and four brothers. Survivors include sons, George Kile and wife, Evalyn, Bryan "Tut" Kile, all from Rogue River, James Kile and wife, Virginia of Medford; daughters, Katherine "Pat" Zieser and Jannette "Jean" Hawkins, both of Rogue River, and Anna Lee Davis of Converse, Tex.; 20 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
