--Elizabeth F. Kile was born in Summit county, Ohio, December 20, 1834. Died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Meisky, October 3, 1899, aged 64 years, 9 months and 13 days.
--She was united in marriage to Jeremiah Kile, May 13, 1849, and to this union nine children were born. Three of these have, with the husband and father, preceded her to the home of "Just Made Perfect."
--She leaves to mourn her departure four daughters and two sons, namely, Mrs. Mary Meisky of Nichols, Mrs. Sarah Kaiser of Minnesota, Mrs. Linnie Berkhart of West Liberty, Mrs. Callie Wrang of Lone Tree, George and Louis Kile of Nichols, one step-daughter, Mrs. Hattie James; also two sisters, Mrs. Caroline Perry of West Liberty, and Mrs. Susan Fenton of Ohio, and twenty-three grandchildren. These, with a multitude of friends, mourn their loss, which is her eternal gain.
--She united with the M. P. church in February, 1899, and has been true to the faith. She was a loving mother and kind sister and was loved by all who knew her. The funeral was held from the M. P. church, Nichols, Iowa, conducted by Rev. W. H. Keyser, assisted by Rev. E. R. McCorkel, with interment in the Swickard cemetery.
