East Prairie - Funeral service for Alta Lee Kestner Crook of East Prairie will be held Saturday at the Shelby Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Portageville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Crook, 79 years old, died Tuesday at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Nov. 7, 1908, in Marietta, Wis., the daughter of Hightower and Mattie Moreland. She married John Kestner.
Mrs. Crook lived most of her life in Mississippi County, and was a member of the Wyatt Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Franklin, Jerry and Johnny Kestner. She was preceded in death by a son, Gene Kestner.
