James William Kerr, 66, of 6410 Hwy. 25 North, husband of Zelpha Lindley Kerr, died Nov. 4, 1993 at Self Memorial Hospital.
He was a native of Anderson County, a son of the late Lafayette and Susie Kerr. He was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of the home, are one son, Steve Kerr of the home; one daughter, Susan Terry of Greenwood; one grandson Kerry Holley.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Walnut Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. James Osteen officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Barry Holley, Bobby Powell, Joey Powell, Pete Powell, Benny Powell and Jimmy White. The body is at Parker-White Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday. the family is at the residence. Parker-White Funeral Home is in charge.
