Messerly.
Juliet Keplinger, daughter of John and Loretta Keplinger was born on a farm near Waverly, September 12, 1848, and passed away in Jacksonville, Saturday, January 19, 1935.
She was married to Samuel Messerly in 1887 who preceded her in death in June 1909.
She was converted in early life and united with the Methodist Episcopal church of Waverly of which she remained a faithful member until her death. She has been an invalid the latter part of her life being bedfast the past three years.
She leaves to mourn her departure one brother, J. W. Keplinger, of Quincy, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, January 21, at 2 o'clock at the Swift Funeral Home, in charge of Rev. Thos. P. Krumpe, of Astoria, formerly pastor of the Waverly M. E. circuit.
Burial was in East cemetery.
