FIFE, GRACE KENNEDY, age 54, died Friday, April 17, 1998. She was a graduate of John Carroll High School and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She was an elementary school teacher in the Birmingham area. A funeral Mass will be held Monday, April 20, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Visitation will be Sunday, April 19, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Ridout's Valley Chapel with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. She is survived by her daughters, Grace Fife Jones of Columbia, South Carolina, Angeline Fife Engelberger of Atlanta, Georgia, and Deirdre Gahan Fife of Birmingham, Alabama; sister, Peggy Kennedy Porter of Columbia, South Carolina; grandchildren, Ryan Curt Engelberger and Amalia Deirdre Engelberger, both of Atlanta, Caroline Grace Jones and Margaret Rose Jones, both of Columbia. Ridout's Valley Chapel is directing.
