Ruth N. Boose, 87, wife of the late Lloyd F. Boose, died Thursday.

Born August 27, 1917 in Rawlinsville, a daughter of the late Enos M. and Mary (Cramer) Kendig.

Mrs. Boose is survived by a son: Lloyd, husband of Sandra Nissley Boose of Mount Joy; 2 daughters: Juanita, wife of F. Roy Zug III of State College, and Jackie Boose of Lancaster. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by two brothers: Ray M. and Paul J. Kendig; four sisters: Olive M. Kendig, Maris N. Kendig, Violet M. Kendig and Marie L. Kendig.

Mrs. Boose was a member of the Lancaster Church of the Brethren. She also enjoyed walking in the Village.

Memorial services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Monday at the Lancaster Church of the Brethren with her pastor, Reverend Dr. J. Calvin Wenger and Reverend Jeff Rill officiating. Interment will be private at Conestoga Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lancaster Church of the Brethren, 1601 Sunset Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17601.
