Luella M. Papson Loving Mother and Grandmother Luella M. Papson, 79, formerly of 636 Rice Avenue, Girard, died Monday, November 21, 2005, at Pleasant Ridge Manor West. She was born in Cranesville on December 1, 1925, a daughter of the late Peter A. [Arthur Miller was her father; she was raised by Peter Kemling] and Bessie Case Kemling. She had been employed as a nurses' aide at Pleasant Ridge Manor West and also at Marx Toys. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Girard and the Rosary Society. She loved to eat out with family and friends. In addition to her parents, Luella was preceded in death by her husband, Cyril M. Papson in 1972, and a brother, William A. Miller. She is survived by two sons: James Papson and his wife Julie of Fairview, John Papson and his wife Cheryl of Bellevue, Neb.; a daughter: Marleen Cardarelli and her husband Michael of Edinboro; two brothers; Frank Kemling of Fairview, Peter Kemling of Girard; one sister, Delores Grega of Girard; 6 grandchildren: David, James, Stephen, Michelle, Jonathan and Molly Papson; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East in Girard on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A service will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday in Burton's All Faiths' Chapel with Father William O'Brien presiding. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery.
