OBITUARY OF HELEN STAKER


Helen Kelson STAKER, 67, of Mount Pleasant, died Wednesday, May 29, 1985 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo.


She was born May 30, 1919 in Ephraim to Alma and Hannah Adalade Christensen KELSON. She married Joseph Dean STAKER in Nephi on December 20, 1938. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.


She was a housewife and an active member of the LDS Church, and acting president of the Stake Choir. She was an LPN at Sanpete Valley Hospital for 12 years and a member of the Women's Club for 40 years.


Survivors include her husband of Mount Pleasant, three daughters and one son, Nancy MICKELSON, Glendora, California; Vickie Jo DOWNARD, Provo; Debra Kay ANDERSON, West Jordan; Ron STAKER, Los Angeles, California; twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. William (Sena) NEILSEN, and Mrs. Clifton (Onda) BAILEY, both of Ephraim.


Services will be Saturday, 1:00 p.m. in Mount Pleasant Stake Center. Friends may call Ursenbach Funeral Home Friday, 7:00-9:00 p.m. and Saturday two hours prior to Services.


Burial will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
