Evening Times; Cumberland, Maryland, Monday, March 8, 1920 - pg. 4, col. 3: Mt. Savage, Md., March 8--Double Funeral--The double funeral of Mrs. Ann Cunningham and her sister, Mrs. Bridget Welsh was held Saturday morning from St. Patrick's Catholic Church with solemn high mass of requiem. Rev. John Fannon, assistant pastor of St. Mark's Catholic Church, Catonville, Md., nephew of Mrs. Cunningham was celebrant. Rev. John W. Dowling, pastor, deacon and Rev. Thomas O'Toole, assistant pastor at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Cumberland, subdeacon. The pallbearers for Mrs. Cunningham were nephews - Joseph, Lawrence, Patrick, Lawrence and Michael Fannon and Charles Cunningham. The pallbearers for Mrs. Welsh were: James J. Thompson, James Gallagher, William Brannon, Lawrence Malloy, Anthony Monahan, Sr., and J. Bradley Porter. Burial was in St. Patrick's cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gallagher, Miss Lillie McGillan, Mrs. James McNamara and Miss Annie Murray, Pittsburgh and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Cunningham and Mrs. Francis Murray, Youngstown, Ohio attended the funeral."
