Sarah K. Crawley, 81, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 21, 2010.
Mrs. Crawley was born to the late Michael and Eliza Jane Pearson Keller on Sept. 17, 1928, in Burke County.
Mrs. Crawley attended Denton's Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Crawley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Phifer Crawley; two sons, Lawrence and Gorman Crawley; a daughter Rebecca Chapman; a brother Clyde Keller; and sisters Mary Alice Brown and Louise Keller.
Mrs. Crawley is survived by her son, Charlie Crawley, and his wife, Courtney, of Morganton; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. today at Denton's Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Alan Wilson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. today at Denton's Chapel United Methodist Church.
