WILLIAMSTOWN - Helen M. Cooper, 87, of Berry Mountain Terrace, passed away Thursday evening at Spang Crest Manor, Lebanon.
She was born in Rausch Creek, November 8, 1920, daughter of the late John and Theresa Foy Kelleher.
Helen will remembered as devoted wife and mother to her family. Her greatest joys were spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Fred in 2000; a brother, John Kelleher and a sister, Marguerite Bambrick.
She was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, Lykens and its Parish of Council of Catholic Women.
Surviving are her children, Susan M. Lengle and her husband, Donald of Pine Grove, Sarah A. Schappell and her husband, Richard of Lebanon, Thomas F. Cooper and his wife, Yvonne of Williamstown and Dolores Updegrave and her husband, Ash of Chambersburg; sister-in-law, Norma Kelleher of Lincoln; 6 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, Sepember 4th at 10 a.m., from her church with Rev. C. Anthony Miller and her nephew, Rev. John W. Bambrick as celebrants. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Williamstown.
