Helen was born Oct. 19, 1925, in Michigan City to the late Edward and Florence (Haller) Keleher. She attended Long Beach School, graduated from Elston High School and received a bachelor's degree from Northwest University. She was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority. On Aug. 28, 1948, in Michigan City, she married Drexel Keith Drehmel, who preceded her in death.

Lutz, Long Beach; sister-in-law, Anita Drehmel, South Bend; three nieces, Diane (Mike) Jones, Millie Drehmel and Debbie Campbell; and four nephews, Douglas (Susan) Drehmel, William L. Helen was an avid tennis player and "all sports" fan. She especially enjoyed growing up in Long Beach and the natural beauty of the lakeshore. She cherished all the friendships she made through Sullair, tennis, bridge clubs, childhood, school and her community Service League involvement. She and her husband had a zest for life, and her tenacious spirit and love will be fondly missed.
