Mrs. Kaylor was a native of Cherokee County, NC and was preceded in death by four sons, Richard, James "Spud", Steve and Bill Kaylor, one son-in-law, Ronald Key, one grandson, Travis Kaylor and her husband, James Otis Kaylor.
She was a member of the Salem Baptist Church and was the last of fourteen children born to John Henry & Lizzie Henson Simonds.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Kaylor of Aiken, SC, Ralph Kaylor of Evans, GA; one daughter, Carolyn Kaylor Key of Augusta, GA; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, June 12th at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Danny Kaylor officiating. Music was by Tammy Kaylor.
Pallbearers included, Wayne Stillwell, Jonathan Kaylor, Ron Key, Jamie Key, Dale Kaylor and Chris Glisson. Interment followed in the Macedonia "Wolf Creek" church cemetery. Gus James served as an honorary pallbearer.
